I (Sylvia) see how supplements and vitamins have changed people’s lives—to live longer, better quality lives! A great example is my aunt, who lives with us, she just turned 90 and had not one health issue—she walks daily, cooks, and takes care of herself. My mother, who was 83, was in optimal health—NO health issues, strong heart, lungs, vibrant, super energetic. In her last year of life they found a brain tumor in 2021, which if you asked her, she would say it was her cell phone that gave it to her. She did not make it, but until the end she believed she lived a healthy and vibrant life. Maybe yes, the cell phone can cause cancer, especially since she had a bad habit of having it next to her ear on a daily basis. Who knows, but what we do know is the rest of her body was in tip-top shape. My grandmother, who was 92, was still going for walks daily, cooking—until she fell and said her knees were tired. She used to say, "I will keep going until one day my body just can’t anymore." Once she became sedentary, she caught pneumonia, was in the hospital, and passed away in her sleep at 94—also in great health, just died of old age. Yes, some may say we may have good genes, BUT all these women had balanced healthy meals, ate healthy (which is not easy, primarily eating Mexican food), but my mother’s influence had a lot to do with introducing vitamins & supplements to her family in the early 70s. They all have another commonality—they truly believe in resting the body, with good sleep, and meditating the mind by praying daily, which is a form of meditation.
